This modification will work with every version of vBulletin
1. When a user registers on your auction site, an account will be created for them automatically on your vBulletin forums with the same login name and password.
2. If you have an existing forum, and you want to import those users into your auction site, you can use the importer included with this mod to do so. Their login name will be the same, however, with the importer, they will be emailed a new password.
The mod was written assuming you have 1 DB for your auction site, and 1 DB for your forums (on the same server). |
