By PHPProbid default, a user can change their personal information within the members area, at any time, for any reason, and there will be no record of those changes.
This presents a security issue as this can occur without the users knowledge if their account was compromised, in addition, the admin of the site would have no knowledge of the change.
This modification will resolve the issue in a number of ways. Any time a users information is changed from the members area, each change will be documented, with the time of the change, what it was changed from, what it was changed to, as well as the IP address of the user who made the changes.
You as the site admin, can elect to force the end user to confirm those changes, before they can conduct any further business on your site. The user will be advised when they login, as well as the email notification emailed to them. Likewise, you as the admin, can elect to receive an email notification of the changes.
