Like the first version, this modification has been created to entice user participation on your auction site, and to reward the end user for his participation. It's a great community builder, and brings a new level of excitement to your site. You'll be amazed at what offering a raffle/contest can do for your sites growth - Especially when marketed correctly.
Raffle Tickets (and or points) are issued on the following Basis:
- Points awarded for Auction Listings
- Points awarded for Auction Relists
- Points awarded for Bids (User makes a Bid, Gets x Points)
- Points awarded for Buy Now Purchases (for purchases with the BIN)
- Points awarded for Referrals (An easy addition to your Register page)
- Points awarded for Invites (Let your users advertise for you, for FREE!)
- Your contests can run for any period that you decide.
- Your point awards are determined by you.
- You can turn off/on any part of the contest you want/dont want.
- Seemlessly integrates into most existing Mods.
The Installation of this modification is quite simple and would take a NOVICE no more than 10 minutes to complete and have operational, provided he/she can follow well documented and commented modifications, such as this one. |
