Welcome to the Claimback Refund System by Binarywebs - Built due to it being a Necessity for the Serious auction site owner, something a site shouldnt be without. In prior versions of ProBid, a claimback was present, but was quite lacking, and apparently, was removed from newer versions.
Why this Mod is needed:
A seller has a buyer who has failed to make payment on his won auction. The seller is upset because he has lost fees due to the nonpayment. He wants a refund of his final value fee (Or any of the other fees). Without this mod, he has to contact the Admin directly asking for a refund. Withoit automation, his request could be lost/overlooked or simply ignored, now resulting in a disgruntled seller who wont be back.
- A seller cannot request a credit until his Balance (if any due) is paid in full.
- The seller is issued a ticket number, and can track the status of his request.
- The admin can select what to refund, if anything, and his reasoning for doing do.
- The admin can choose to Deduct any refund amount from the Bidders account. (That'll teach em!)
... And thats just to name a Few!
While this Mod is quite complex, and Fully Featured - Its easy to install. A novice should be able to complete installation in less than 7 minutes. Not able to do it yourself? No problem. Installation is available at a slightly higher charge.
