| Description |
If you have never had the joyous task of someone attempting to wreak havoc on your site by erroneously bidding on multiple items, fraudulently buying multiple items with the use of the Buy it now button, and or experience someone attempting to send mass volumes of messages via the ask seller a question feature, then consider yourself lucky, because at some point, it is going to happen.
This modification will greatly reduce these problems (if not completely eliminate them) from happening to you.
You as the site admin, can define the maximum number of Bids a non id verified user can make in a 24 hour period, as well as the number of items a non id verified user can purchase with the Buy it now feature in a 24 hour period, as well as define the number of Questions a non id verified user can ask within a 24 hour period.
Once the user has exceeded that threshold, he will be denied access to those features until 24 hours has lapsed, and or, he decides to become verified by way of your Seller Verification feature! |
